Sad songs are the best songs :: Making happy songs with claps and woo woos was a part of my livelihood at one point, but I always wanted to express my other emotions. Which felt buried, especially in the later years of my life. This song is a timestamp capsule of one of those brave moments for me.
Sometimes you need clean takes and sometimes you need them dirty…
We could have a long conversation about this… simply put, if you’re not a working musician releasing music, AI songs are great. It’s fun. You just can’t sell them. If you are a musician, you’re just taking a shortcut. It’s not a good look and you need to decide if you’re in it for the right reasons. Some of us have built, bled, and dedicated a portion of our lives and have earned our seat at the table. — I declare to all 50 of my followers!
No shade we all make mistakes. I’ve made plenty. Just stop and definitely don’t go die on this hill. If you want to be an artist, learn your craft and level up like the rest of us. It’s a lot of work and you’re probably going to suck sometimes, but that’s how it’s supposed to be. End preach
