We welcomed two of our scholarship recipients to lunch on Tuesday.

Erhem Bolor and Casey Guia shared what service means to them and their plans for the future.

Thanks to everyone who helped us clean up Rotary Park this week. We picked up litter around the playground and in the pond and refreshed the mulch around several trees.

It was great to see so many family members join in the clean up since school is out.

A special thanks to Bolingbrook Park District for coordinating the supplies for the clean up.

Another great morning serving with friends and neighbors to distribute food with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The morning started rainy, but the sun was out by the end of our shift.

This mobile food pantry takes place the first Tuesday of each month at Bolingbrook High School.

Last Wednesday, we joined with other Rotary clubs and community members to make 44 Birthday Cake kits. Each kit includes cake mix, frosting, candles, soda (replaces eggs and oil), instructions, a cake pan, and a Happy birthday card signed by volunteers.

Our Bolingbrook Rotary Club distributed 36 of the kits across 7 Micro Pantries in our Bolingbrook community!

Sending thanks to the Rotarians and community members who came out last weekend to help clean up the Dupage River Greenway Trail, pull invasive garlic mustard, and remove the cages around some well established trees.

It was a chilly morning, but working along side kindred spirits warmed us up!
