Around here, happiness isn’t just the big milestones. Sometimes it comes from having dogs in the office. From getting outside after work and remembering why people love living in the Northwest. From building a career without feeling like your entire life has to revolve around work.
At RNG, we care deeply about growth and ambition, but we also care about the people who made it what it is. The small moments. The community around us. The relationships we build along the way.
Over the last 11 years, those things have shaped our culture just as much as business ever could. So here are a few things that make us happy and a few things that make RNG feel like RNG.
What makes you happy in your work environment?

At RNG Group, we’re redefining how companies connect with talent, building a relationship first recruiting model that bridges the gap between technology and the human side of hiring.
Our approach is grounded in a community driven perspective shaped by deep roots in Idaho and years of experience in business development and talent strategy.
Through that work, we’ve helped place millions of dollars in salaries across the Northwest, strengthening companies, careers, and local economies.
It comes down to a simple belief. Great companies are built by great people. Finding them starts with real connection.
If hiring is a priority in the next 60–90 days, now is the time to build your pipeline. Let’s connect.

At RNG, we feel lucky to be in Downtown Boise. One of the best parts of our location? A five-minute jog over to the Boise Foothills.
With the sunshine finally back after a rainy week, we’ve felt especially grateful, not just for our office space, but for the city we get to live and work in.
As we think about growth and expansion in Boise, quality of life stays part of the conversation. There aren’t many places where you can step out during a busy day and reset with a quick run on the trails.
If we sound like a broken record, that’s fine with us. What we have here is rare.
Just about a year ago, we celebrated 10 years of RNG by sharing 10 lessons we’ve learned along the way. Today felt like a good time to revisit one of them: the power of “no.”
With our focus on job searching this week, it felt right to be honest for a moment.
When you’re actively looking for work, it’s easy to feel defeated by the word “no.” Rejection is something every candidate faces at some point. It’s frustrating, and it’s personal.
But sometimes “no” simply means not right now.
If you can shift the way you see those moments and treat them as part of the process rather than the end of the road, you’ll stay ahead of the game.
Send this to someone who might need the reminder:
“No” isn’t always rejection. Sometimes it’s just redirection.
Unexpected career changes can be tough to navigate, but they can also open new doors.
In this clip, Zoe shares one of the most important reminders during a transition: tap into your network. The right conversation at the right time can lead to opportunities you didn’t even know existed.
While RNG isn’t a job search consulting firm, we work closely with professionals navigating career transitions every day. We’re always glad to share what we see from the recruiting side and point people toward helpful resources along the way.

RNG in #2016 looked a little something like….
1. Just finished up our first year in business! Our first office was right above ! Never went a day without being fully caffeinated.
2. Early, influential, and amazing friends & and the lovely Sun Valley behind us.
And of course , Pete, and in the early days in what used to be Old Chicago!
3. Kristen’s puppy being the tiniest and cutest
4 & 5. crushing the 2016 trends during her BYP involvement
Thanks for walking down memory lane with us. So fun to see how far we have come in the past 10 years; can’t believe will be turning 11 this April!

Ending the week & starting the day off here. Before meetings or to do lists, a lot of our days start right here. Work life balance at RNG = time to move and be active.
Flexibility matters to us, and building movement into our mornings is one way we support balance at RNG. What does balance look like for you today?

This year, hiring hasn’t been about filling seats. It’s been about finding the right fit.
The 2025 job market shifted in uneven ways, and many searches felt more complex. We see companies looking for people who can fill real gaps, understand the niche, and step into the work with confidence. That kind of match is hard to find on a job board.
If your team is hiring for a role that needs a precise fit, let’s talk. Because the best candidates aren’t applying. They are busy doing great work somewhere else. That’s where we come in.
