Tracked some pedal steel with the other day. Can’t wait to finally get some of these songs out to the people. Less honkin! More tonkin!

Got Tyler in to lay down some drums for a couple new . Good to get back to making some music and great vibes, from both Tyler and these slingerlands.

Been a long summer of kiddos, travel, local shows, and finally getting the studio back in shape to do some drum tracking for this week. Stay tuned!

Starting a new project with . Scratch tracks, done. Some fun tunes coming

some studio glimpses lately. wrapping up some loose ends on older projects, ready to get into some new ones.

Sometimes, when your drums just aren’t sitting in the mix quite right, you gotta just retrack them. Thankful for a space I can just knock em out real quick with some help from engineering a session last minute. Worth the work

New amp rack, who dis? Used some leftover plywood to build a custom shelf/rack for my amps to match my Sidecar, complete with a 3U rack to house power and a soon-to-be patch bay for mixing & matching amps & cabs. Yes, I’m the old man who still plays/mics real amps, someone’s gotta keep it going, but stay off my lawn.

This is the “house” part of House Below.

Sometimes it’s for tracking drums, piano & guitar amps. And sometimes it’s a guest room for family, getting ready for the newest addition to the fam.

Picked up some new gear and some brand brand new cymbals from . Got the inaugural stick marks on em and they sounded great under some warm ribbon mics. Loved getting back to making some noise down here and making music with again, it’s been too long.

Transformed from drum tracking to a piano session. Flexing the felt piano tomorrow morning. Also, there’s something therapeutic about wrapping all the cables and cleaning up after a drum session
