"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? Can't find a place that fits? Come check us out at Salt.

We're energetic, fun, and focused on feeding young adults!

Thanks, Steve Miljatovic, for bringing such an amazing truth to us found in The Parable of the Barren Fig (Luke 13:6-9). The truth is God sent Jesus to intercede for us so that God only sees Jesus in us, not our sinful nature. Wow!

We are the barren tree struggling to produce fruit. Jesus is the Gardener, fertilizing and breaking up our soil so we produce more and better fruit. God is the owner saying let's give it one more year.....don't chop it down.

We don't need to compare ourselves to others....we only need to know God is enough and Jesus does everything for and through us.

God the Father and God the Son care for you and are seeking your salvation.....What A Grace!!!

So Heavenly blessed at SALT, today!

LBJ....a somewhat harsh person was know for writing a thank you card to most everyone he came in contact. Scripture is riddled with thanks to our God. Gratitude connects us to others and to God. We can give thanks for the past, in the present and for the future. A study of a group on suicide-watch, where the participants had to write thank you notes, showed their mental states improved significantly. Being thankful can reverse depression. Saying thanks improves your marriage and your relations with everyone. Thank you, Robbie Lane, for letting us in on the secret of this natural wonder drug put in us by God: Thankfulness and Gratitude. Robbie shares with us seven ways we can bank on this naturally occurring wonder-drug!

1. Actually write thank you cards once a month
2. Thank someone mentally
3. Keep a gratitude journal
4. Count 3-5 blessings per week
5. Pray: Spiritual people who pray find it easier to have gratitude
6. Meditate on what you are grateful for in the present moment without judgement
7. Be still! You need the quiet to hear the voice of God filling you up with gratefulness.

This is Paul's letter to the Church of Ephesus. What would it be like if we prayed, encouraged and thanked one another as he did?
