MBMS FFA had a great evening attending the Area Awards Banquet! Congratulations to Sydney Spradlin and Sophia Holmes for being recognized for their outstanding SAE record books. We are also proud of Dheer Mehrotra for placing 2nd in the Area FFA Quiz Contest!

What an incredible night celebrating the accomplishments, leadership, and memories made this year at the MBMS FFA Banquet! We are so proud of all of our members and thankful for the families, supporters, and community members who continue to make our chapter successful. From contests and conferences to service projects and SAE accomplishments, this year has been one to remember.

A special moment from the evening was recognizing our principal, Mrs. Kristin Harrison, with honorary chapter membership for her continued support, encouragement, and dedication to agricultural education and the MBMS FFA program. We are incredibly thankful for all she has done for our students and chapter.

MBMS FFA had an incredible time at the State FFA Convention!

We were proud to bring 12 members to this unforgettable experience filled with leadership, learning, and service. Members heard inspiring keynote speeches and retiring addresses, as well as powerful messages from Brian Kemp and Tyler Harper.

Beyond the sessions, students enjoyed attending the PBR Rodeo and giving back through the Day of Service by packing meals for local food banks.

We’re proud of these members for representing MBMS FFA so well and continuing to grow as leaders in agriculture!

Big news for MBMS FFA!

Congratulations to Asher Grace Bailey and Norah Brubaker for earning 1st place at the State Agriscience Fair in the Social Systems Division! 🏆 Their project, comparing traditional study methods vs. AI-based study tools on content mastery, showcased innovative thinking and real-world application in education.

We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Next stop: the National FFA Convention & Expo this October!

This award recognizes chapters that actively promote premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through meaningful programs in Growing Leaders, Building Communities, and Strengthening Agriculture.

Our FFA members and agriculture students had an incredible time celebrating National Ag Day on Friday! Students toured Outdoor Specialty in Watkinsville, a local family-owned nursery, where they learned about plant production, seasonal crop planning, and how nurseries grow and market plants for the community. They also visited Dogwood Genetics to explore cattle genetics and breeding practices. Experiences like these bring classroom learning to life!
