Area rugs are a great way to provide color, texture and comfort to your space.
Along with coordinating your rug to your design and color scheme, it is also
important to select the appropriate size. For example, if you are placing a rug in
your living room, a general rule of thumb is to choose a rug that is at least large
enough to allow the front legs of your sofa and/or chairs to rest on top of the rug.
Of course, every room and project is unique so why not allow one of our

It is important to display your library collection in an interesting manner. One should not line up books all in one direction. Some books can be flat with a special item to display alongside. If your bookcase is illuminated, it can be even more interesting. The art of displaying your books and significant accents can merge into something just as special as a piece of art.

Eclectic – Selecting what seems best in various styles and ideas.
Do all styles and ideas work well together? No they do not. When you want to effectively use things you love, it is important to consider how the style, color, and scale work in the overall look of your room. A harmonious color palette can help to unite different decorating styles.
Mixing contemporary items in with more traditional pieces can give your room a fresh updated look. Key components can be abstract art pieces, over size vases in interesting shapes, contemporized lamps or chandeliers.
Display accessories in groups, and allow breathing space in between objects so you do not clutter and overwhelm the space. Selectively edit what you use so your room looks beautiful. Do not feel like you have to show everything you own at one time as you can trade out accessories and pillows for a seasonal change.
