Boca Raton could leave a City Council seat empty until March. Council members agreed Tuesday to put off taking applications for a temporary replacement for Councilwoman Yvette Drucker, who is leaving to run for Palm Beach County Clerk of Court.

They plan to talk at a workshop about whether to appoint someone at all.
