Stephanie has been a cornerstone of the Slavic401k team for four years, currently serving as a New Plans Manager based in Orlando. If you ask her what makes the job rewarding, she’ll tell you it’s all about the people. She thrives on watching her team learn and succeed. A mindset that keeps our entire operation running like a well-oiled machine.

"I frequently have amazing days at Slavic401k because the company is filled with delightful people who are always willing to collaborate," she shares. Her top advice for new hires? "Remember that someone is always willing to help. From day one, I have always felt welcomed, assisted, and appreciated."

She’s quick to credit those who paved the way for her, giving a heartfelt nod to Talon Sewell, Yalina Infante, Christina Kins, Sharene Hierlmeier, Lia Webster, and Dominique Hennemann for their leadership and support throughout her journey.

The "How is that possible?" Fun Fact: Despite living in Orlando for over a decade, Stephanie has never been to Disney! When she isn't busy being a rockstar at work, you can usually find her baking up a storm or catching up on her favorite anime. 🧁📺

🎉 January Employee of the Month: Matthew Hagel! 🎉

Since joining Slavic401k in April 2022, Matthew has been leveling up our team as a Trainer in Customer & Client Success, crafting and delivering training for new Participant Services Representatives.

He’s mastered the art of adaptability in our fast-moving world, and one of his standout moments? Seeing all 16 trainees from his latest class show up in bonnets for part two of training! 🫖🎀Moments like that make coming to work each day even more rewarding.

When he’s not teaching, Matthew is exploring Prescott’s trails (Lynx Lake is a favorite) and making his new house feel like home—fence for the dogs, renovations, the works!

Matthew’s tip for anyone starting their Slavic401k journey: “Give yourself grace. There are many moving parts in the 401k world, and it’s nearly impossible to remember everything at once. Fortunately, Slavic offers a wide range of resources that are always available to support you.”
