đż August is National Wellness Month đż
Wellness isnât just about physical health â itâs about caring for your mind, body, and emotional well-being.
This month, I invite you to take a moment to check in with yourself:
⨠What is your body asking for?
⨠What does your mind need to feel grounded?
⨠What fills your spirit with peace?
Small steps add up â whether itâs setting boundaries, practicing mindfulness, connecting with loved ones, or simply resting without guilt.
Your wellness matters every month, but let August be a gentle reminder to put yourself on your own priority list. đ
If youâre feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start, Boca Behavioral Health is here to support you. You donât have to do it alone â letâs work together to help you feel more balanced, connected, and at peace. đ¸

⨠So often, we rush from one task to the next, barely pausing to acknowledge how far weâve come. Sound familiar?
If you find yourself constantly chasing the ânext thing,â this is your gentle reminder to pause. đ§ââď¸
Take a mindful moment to reflect on your strengthsâthe resilience youâve built, the goals youâve already achieved, and the dreams youâre still moving toward. đŞđ
đŤ Therapeutic Tip: Practice self-compassion. Speak to yourself the way you would a close friendâacknowledge your effort, not just the outcome.
Itâs okay if today wasnât your best. Grace belongs here, too. đż You donât have to have it all figured out. Growth isnât linearâand youâre allowed to be a work in progress and proud of yourself at the same time.
Let today be the day you celebrate you. đ

July is Disability Pride Month âżđ§ đ§Šđđ§âđŚ˝â¨đ¤
Itâs a time to celebrate the contributions and achievements of people with disabilities, raise awareness about disability rights, and promote inclusion and accessibility for all.
Disability Pride Month also marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), signed into law on July 26, 1990 â a landmark civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in employment, education, transportation, and more.
Itâs also a reminder that mental health conditions are disabilities too â and they deserve just as much visibility, support, and celebration.
Disability pride means celebrating our differences and pushing for a world where all bodies and minds are valued equally. Letâs keep normalizing conversations around mental health, breaking stigma, and advocating for truly inclusive care for everyone.
