Pradeep highlighted how Rotary’s global network brings clubs together to address challenges, improve communities, and create lasting impact around the world. His presentation was a great reminder that while we serve locally, Rotary’s reach extends across the globe.

Join us this Friday for a fascinating presentation by Alexandra Ashe, Founder and Executive Director of Kinkatopia.
Based in Boca Raton, Kinkatopia is home to the world’s only kinkajou-specific rescue and sanctuary. Alexandra will share the organization’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming kinkajous while educating the public about the challenges of the exotic pet trade.

Highlights from this week’s Rotary meeting!
We kicked off a new Rotary year with President Bob Tucker’s first meeting and warmly welcomed our new members from the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise as our clubs officially came together.
Members also had the opportunity to introduce themselves, helping build new friendships and connections as we begin this exciting new chapter.
Congratulations to Diane Witt, the first recipient of President Bob’s new Rotarian of the Week award!

Our first meeting under the leadership of President Bob Tucker was a wonderful start to the new Rotary year!
This meeting also marked an exciting milestone as we officially welcomed members of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise following the merger of our two clubs. To help everyone get acquainted, each member had 30 seconds to introduce themselves—a great way to begin building new friendships and connections.
President Bob also launched a new tradition, the Rotarian of the Week award, which will recognize a member each week throughout his presidency. Congratulations to our very first recipient, Diane Witt!
We’re excited for the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.

As we close another incredible Rotary year, we extend our sincere gratitude to Allen B. Konis, President 2025–2026, Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton, for his outstanding leadership and service.
Under Allen’s leadership, our club completed several impactful service projects, contributed hundreds of volunteer hours, strengthened our Nutrition on Weekends (NOW) program, welcomed 8 new members, and celebrated becoming a 100% Paul Harris Club for the second time in our club’s history.
Allen often reminded us that leadership is about how you make people feel. Throughout the year, he led with kindness, dedication, and a genuine commitment to Service Above Self, helping make our club stronger than ever.
Thank you, Allen, for an outstanding year of leadership and service. We look forward to building on the strong foundation you’ve helped create.
