What is The Boca Bash?
It is a gathering. A gathering of people brought together by the promise of sun, sound, and energy. The energy of thousands of people on boats, rafts, tubes, jet skis, paddle boards, and just about anything else you can manage to float on! In short, Boca Bash is nothing less than amazing. Most widely known for it's large crowds and tolerance by law enforcement, it has become one of the most widely looked forward to parties of the year. For those who have been before, such an explanation seems less than adequate, but for those who haven't, ask yourself this one question...
"If for 1 day a year, thousands of people, woke up at the crack of dawn, threw on board shorts, strapped on the bikinis, got to their boats, fired up the engines, packed the coolers, prepped the kegs, grabbed the bottles, rallied the super soakers, wired the speakers & subs, playlists ready, took just enough sunscreen, inflated the rafts, and set the sails for one place all day to make a memory that lasts the whole year... where will you be?'"

• Boca Inlet is prone to constant changes in shoaling. With an east wind and outgoing tide, the inlet becomes impassible to small craft. SAFE PASSAGE REQUIRES LOCAL KNOWLEDGE.
• Lake Boca has a very shallow center, this is often blocked off by Patrol.
• The Palmetto Park Road bridge opens on the hour and on the half hour.
• The Boca Inlet Bridge opens on demand. The bridge has a relatively high clearance and typically can accommodate a sport fish without a tuna tower and with outriggers lowered
• In Florida, the BAC limit for a boat is .08 - the same as a car. For minors (under 21), the limit is .02 BAC.
• Be safe and always aware of your surroundings. The Official Checklist:

Mark your calendars for April 26th and join us for the ultimate boat party from sunrise to sunset! 20+ years strong, we’re bringing the music, vibes, and memories back to the waters of Boca Raton.
Get ready to dance, soak up the sun, and celebrate life with friends old and new. Let’s make this day one to remember.
And remember, our waters are precious, let’s keep them clean and respect the marine life that makes South Florida so special. Party hard, party smart, and leave the ocean as beautiful as you found it. 💙

PSA:
Addressing the viral video of a boat exiting the inlet into open ocean and dumping their garbage into our waterways; we cannot be more angered and disturbed by these actions.
Once the video was posted we quickly got to work with the community to discover who the owner of the boat was and who was on the vessel in this particular instance committing an egregious act. Several people that helped in identifying them had already contacted authorities to handle the situation. By no means do we believe this is a representation of the gathering. We implore and expect boaters to keep the waterways clean, uphold proper boating etiquette, and follow state laws while on the water. We also are very clear that it is of utmost importance to hire a captain for your vessel if you are on the water enjoying drinks. It is shameful to see local boaters from surrounding cities have little to no respect for our local wildlife and marine ecosystems. We do not condone this behavior by any means and are appalled that the passengers even had the audacity to clap at the drone that was filming them dumping their garbage. We hope the repercussions handed down can be viewed publicly as a warning of how important our waters are to us native Floridians.
