Valentine’s Day!! A day we celebrate LOVE. But why is it always geared toward romantic love. I urge you today to celebrate allllll LoVE. Friendship. Family. Neighborly. But most importantly….SELF LOVE!!!!

Valentines day is two days away. Hot looks lash has you covered, we have gift certificates and all you have to do is drop the hint that you had enough sweets and treats for Super Bowl. All you need for Valentine’s Day is lashes. Single ladies… valentines day is about love. Not just romantic love but my favorite love…SELF LOVE!!! Treat yourself!!!!

Did you know that the residual oils and makeup left on your face, works its way down onto your lashes?
This ultimately affects retention.
Oils settling on to your lashes, compromises the new lashes being applied during your fill appointment and inhibits the proper bond which ultimately results in overall poor retention. Cleanse your face daily, not only for beautiful clear skin, but it will ultimately help your lashes last longer as well.

Somehow we woman believe that we have to put everyone else’s needs over our own. We take care of our children, our partners, our careers and we put ourselves last. This is so counter productive. When we fail to take care of ourselves first, we deplete and become worse versions of ourselves. We can’t pour from an empty cup. So when I say self care is essential, what I’m saying is to put your oxygen mask on first and you will be able to give more to those things that matter to you without depleting your own inner resources. Self care IS NOT selfish, in fact it’s imperative.

Lash fills are meant to be scheduled every two weeks for maximum hold and results. Waiting results in too many lashes last and the cost of the fill can easily become a full set if the retention loss inbetween appointments is excessive.
