Why we split her facial balancing into TWO visits.

Six areas needed attention. Botox for the etched-in lines, PDO threads to reposition the tissue, under eye filler for hollowness, smile line filler, lip hydration, and chin filler for the shadows.

We treated all of it in one sitting. Conservatively. Threads first to build support, then filler, and less of it than she could have taken.

Here is why. Filler integrates into your tissue. It draws water, it moves, it softens. What you see on day one is not your result. Fill to finished in one appointment and you are guessing at a face that has not stopped changing.

A month later, everything had settled and we could see exactly what was still missing. Then we added only that.

Gairy thought he just looked tired.

Not older. Tired. And no amount of sleep changed what he saw in the mirror. But the shadows under his eyes were never the real story. When we mapped his face, the truth was one layer down: his cheek compartments had deflated and dropped their support, and that lost structure was throwing the shadow he’d been blaming on rest. This is what facial balancing for men actually involves, and it starts with the assessment, not the needle.

That map set the sequence.

We lifted first with PDO threads along the midface and jaw to reposition tissue that had descended and kick off a collagen response that keeps building for months. No sense restoring volume onto a foundation still sitting low.

Then we restored with midface filler to rebuild the cheek support time had deflated, and the under-eye shadow resolved on its own, because it was a volume deficit, not a sign of age.

Then we balanced the lower third with chin filler and refined shadows, so a restored midface never sits top-heavy, and the whole face looks natural instead of worked on.

Lift, rebuild, balance, in the order his face called for. Another face calls for another.

Here’s the part men tend to miss. Taking care of your face isn’t vanity, and it isn’t a crisis at 50. It’s maintenance, the same way you service the car and fund the retirement account. Your threads didn’t fail. The plan did.

Threads don’t replace volume. They reposition tissue. That’s the part most people get wrong.
