Each year, we unite to make a real impact through volunteer efforts across our markets, spotlighting a cause that matters. In 2026, we’re focusing on basic needs and community support, showing what’s possible when compassion meets action.

From coast to coast, our teams are volunteering with impactful organizations like Second Servings, A Bed for Every Child, Central Texas Food Bank, Turning Point Community Programs, and more. Together, we can ensure that no one faces their journey alone.

Associates from the Mid-Atlantic region gathered this month to support Oren White, Superintendent at Mill Creek, and the Miles for Melanoma organization, raising over $13,000 from associate volunteers. In total, the event raised over $128,000, a testament to the inspiring community of participants who ran, walked, or cheered on those who have battled, or been touched by, melanoma.

June is Pride Month, a time to honor the LGBTQIA+ community and reflect on the ongoing journey toward equality, inclusion, and acceptance.

At Mill Creek, we believe everyone deserves to live, work, and thrive as their authentic selves. This month, we're standing alongside our associates and residents in celebrating the people who make our communities what they are.

Mill Creek associates from Modera McKinney Ridge, Modera Frisco Square, and Modera Trailhead came together to participate in Walk MS, which raises awareness and funds for those living with multiple sclerosis. Associates: Destiny Boyd, A***n Hurtado Turino, Yudelmis Martinez Toledo, Porfirio Jose Labrada, Yuri Ortega, Laura Sako, Nikki Meadows, Abel Alarcon Puebla, Israel Garcia Puebla, and Matthew Besore came together for this special occasion.

What started as Destiny's personal commitment quickly became a great example of what community looks like!
