This past school year, we raised a campus record of $135,100, placing us 9th in North America among the 244 Sigma Chi chapters. This earned four of our brothers an invitation this summer to the Huntsman Retreat of Excellence (HRoE)—an all-expense-paid celebration of Sigma Chi’s unwavering commitment to becoming the Generation to End Cancer.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Utah, HRoE is more than just a reward; it’s a gathering of the best and brightest. Chapter representatives from across the country and beyond come together to connect, share, and inspire one another. The bonds formed at HRoE extend far beyond the retreat itself, building a national network of brothers united by a common purpose.

Between meaningful conversations, lasting connections, and learning opportunities, attendees are treated to unforgettable experiences in the wild beauty of Utah, with thrilling excursions that make for memories as lasting as the friendships built along the way.

The highlight of the retreat is an evening at Huntsman Cancer Institute itself. Attendees are invited to walk the halls of one of the world’s premier cancer research facilities, exploring the many spaces made possible by Sigma Chi’s generous pledges. They hear directly from some of the brightest cancer researchers in the world, gaining a powerful firsthand look into exactly where their fundraising dollars go and the lives they help change.

🏆 SIX-TIME PETERSON WINNERS 🏆

The Lambda Tau chapter of Sigma Chi has done it again. For the 6th time, we have been awarded the Sigma Chi Peterson Significant Chapter Award, which is the highest award given to an undergraduate chapter.

It recognizes excellence in all major areas of operation and programming, including academics, philanthropy, recruitment, and Ritual performance.

This is a testament to the hard work and dedication that has strengthened our brotherhood.

We are proud to share this achievement with Grand Consul Ryan Temby and our Chapter Sweetheart, Kenzie Loomis, the 39th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi.

The Lambda Tau chapter of Sigma Chi continues to lead with excellence as 40 of our brothers made the Dean’s list this past year and had the highest cumulative Spring GPA on campus.

We will continue to strive and set a standard for what leaders of men should be. It’s an honor to represent Sigma Chi with such purpose.

This last year has truly shown me why Sigma Chi is so important in my life. I have met a countless amount of people whose values go beyond this world. It’s not a joke when they talk about the lifelong friendships because the people I’ve met, I can’t see myself living without. The energy that was in the room in my first ever rush event hooked me instantly. It’s a group of men who truly are ideal. They bring the best type of man out of you and are a backbone to your success. Words can’t describe how excited I am for these next 3 years and to spend it with my guys for life. Throughout my past 3 years, I have quickly learned how Sigma Chi is a lifelong bond to brothers across the country. I get the opportunity to not only meet friends that I can truly and confidently call my brothers, but also become more involved on campus through our consistent schedule of recruitment, social, and philanthropy events. Any doubt I may have had about rushing quickly dissipated when I got to meet my soon-to-be brothers at my first Rush event. Getting out to these events was the absolute best decision I have made here at FAU. I am truly blessed and grateful to have this opportunity to gain so many amazing friendships, memories and connections through this fraternity.

Our Recruitment Chairman (Blake Anderson) spent the week at the Sigma Chi Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit in Snowbird, Utah.

Horizons is a leadership development experience for Sigma Chi undergraduates who wish to improve their understanding of leadership related to personal development, group dynamics, and intentional efforts to make positive changes in the world.

Thanks to the generous support of the Sigma Chi Foundation, this program is offered at no cost to the participants.
