The 2026 Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival brought The Next Generation to life through two inspiring weeks of music-making, mentorship, collaboration, and connection—from the concert stage to our community through the Elevar Foundation’s Elevate 360 initiatives.

Our final week took us from a beautiful evening at the Boca Raton Museum of Art to a memorable closing weekend at Lynn University, with community programs sharing the artistry of our Festival musicians beyond the concert hall.

None of it would have been possible without our extraordinary artists, partners, supporters, donors, venues—and all of you who joined us throughout the Festival.

Yesterday, the Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival returned to Lynn University for its final concert, Romantic Tapestries II, bringing together our extraordinary Festival Artists for a powerful afternoon of Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, and Chausson.
 
And once again, our incredible audience showed up with the enthusiasm and energy that have meant so much to us throughout these past two weeks. Sharing this final performance with a hall full of friends, supporters, and music lovers made the afternoon all the more special.
 
Among those joining us were so many people who are part of the extended Elevar family: Tim and Virginia Barnes of Barnesviolins LLC, whose friendship and extraordinary support touch every one of our programs; and Jon Robertson, Elevar Foundation Board Member, longtime friend of our Founder & Artistic Director Elmar Oliveira, and recently retired Dean of the Lynn University Conservatory of Music.
 
At the center of it all were Elmar and Andrés Cárdenes, Artistic Director of the Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival, longtime friends whose shared love of music—and belief in supporting the generations of artists who follow—helped make this year’s Festival theme, The Next Generation, something we could see and hear onstage.
 
To our remarkable JGCMF musicians, our friends and supporters, and every audience member who shared this final concert with us: thank you for making the afternoon one we will remember.
 
And our deepest gratitude to the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, whose generous support helped make the entire 2026 Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival possible.
 

Last night was about so much more than the music.

The 2026 Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival continued its final weekend at Lynn University with Mozartiade II and another extraordinary audience. Mozart filled the hall, the musicians brought the music brilliantly to life, and the energy was everything we could have hoped for.

But as we approach the final concert of this year’s Festival, we find ourselves thinking about what happens beyond the stage.

The Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival is a program of the Elevar Foundation, an organization born from Founder & Artistic Director Elmar Oliveira’s deeply held belief in giving back. That spirit is at the heart of everything we do—and it is why so many extraordinary people have come together over these past two weeks.

This year’s theme, The Next Generation, has been visible in every concert: distinguished artists and emerging musicians sharing the stage, exchanging ideas, building friendships, and carrying great music forward together. But it has also been visible around the dinner table, in rehearsals, backstage, and in the friendships and generosity that surround this Festival.

Last night, we had the chance to celebrate all of it together. We were delighted to spend the evening with Elmar as well as our dear friend and generous supporter Vladimir Radosavljevic, whose remarkable donation of gold- and silver-mounted bows was part of the 2026 EOIVC prize package; our Festival artists; and so many friends who believe in this work.

These are the moments that remind us why we are here.

And now, there is one concert left.

The Festival closes with Romantic Tapestries II, a deeply expressive program featuring music by Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, and Chausson. From the lyric intensity of Rachmaninov’s Trio élégiaque No. 1 and the elegance of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir d’un lieu cher (Meditation) to the emotional richness of Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, the afternoon culminates in Chausson’s Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, a work of remarkable color, scale, and emotional depth.

Performing artists include Andrés Cárdenes, violin; Michael Klotz, violin; Gary Levinson, violin; Erica Lynn, violin; Jack Kessler, viola; Anne Martindale Williams, cello; Robert Koenig, piano; and Sheng-Yuan Kuan, piano.

Last night, Romantic Tapestries II filled the Boca Raton Museum of Art ( ) for an extraordinary evening of Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, and Chausson.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our friends at the Museum for welcoming the Festival. The incredible response from our audiences throughout these past two weeks has made JGCMF 2026: The Next Generation something truly special.

The final weekend of the 2026 Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival begins on Saturday, July 18 with Mozartiade II at Amarnick-Goldstein Hall, Lynn University.

This all-Mozart program reveals the remarkable breadth of the composer’s expressive voice—from the buoyant charm of the Piano Trio in G major, K.564 to the introspective depth of the Violin Sonata in E minor, K.304. The evening culminates in the String Quartet in C major, K.465 (“Dissonance”), a work of harmonic imagination and complexity that continues to challenge and captivate audiences.

The 2026 Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival returns on Thursday, July 16 with a special evening performance at the Boca Raton Museum of Art: Romantic Tapestries II.

This richly textured program brings together music of lyric intensity and sweeping emotional power. From Rachmaninov’s Trio élégiaque No. 1 and Schumann’s Fantasiestücke to Tchaikovsky’s Meditation from his Souvenir d’un lieu cher, the evening culminates in Chausson’s Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, a work of striking color and richness.
