Reasonable minds may differ. Data in a phone is only subject to 4th Amendment protections. However, compelling a defendant to divulge the password to the device may implicate 5th Amendment protections. Courts have gone both ways - is a password compelled speech or more like compelling production of a key?

Defense counsel is confident that the Supreme Court will rule that police access to the video feed from a privately owned camera monitoring an area open to the public will require a warrant. I don't think SCOTUS will agree with this argument.

Police misconduct never seems to stop. This case out of Colorado demonstrates the costs of allowing an "advocate for justice" to attempt to intimidate a witness. $24M jury verdict against this town in Parker, CO - the detective retired shortly after the lawsuit was filed, and has 40 open cases that will go poorly.
