Hollow structural section (HSS), especially rectangular sections, are commonly used in welded steel frames where members experience loading in multiple directions. Square and circular HSS have very efficient shapes for this multiple-axis loading as they have uniform geometry along two or more cross-sectional axes, and thus uniform strength characteristics. This makes them good choices for columns. They also have excellent resistance to torsion.

Commercial complexes today are not a group of retail units only, there are a lot of elements some of them are old and the rest are new, which are very important in designing Commercial buildings such as atria, cinemas, food courts, family entertainment centers, parking plaza, etc., which change the design concepts. The target for commercials is therefore to attract the biggest number of people to visit, with their different age and culture levels.

The structures in nature are great lessons for human study. Having been in development for several
billion years, only the most successful structural forms have survived. The resourcefulness of material
use, the underlying structural systems and the profound capacity to respond to a variety of climatic
and environmental forces make natural form tremendous exemplars to human architectures.

BIM CONCEPT

Building information modeling is a process that fundamentally changes the role of computation in the AEC industry. It involves new concepts and practices that are so greatly improved by innovative information technologies and business structures that they will radically reduce the multiple forms of waste and inefficiency in the building industry (National Institute of Building Sciences, 2007).
In this concept, rather than using a computer to assist producing a series of drawings that together describe a building, the computer is used to create a single, unified representation of the entire building so content comprehensive that it can generate all necessary construction documentations. The primitives from which the BIM software composes these models are not the same ones used in traditional
CAD (points, lines, curves). Instead, the BIM application models with virtual building components that hold attributed information about actual elements and systems.
