Meet our Therapist, Richie:
Richie Mohammed - Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Keiser University and has been practicing for 9 years at APTA. He played college baseball before sustaining a shoulder injury which led him down his path to physical therapy. He is well versed in orthopaedics, especially the shoulder. In his off time, Richie likes to exercise and outdoor activities.

Meet Vanessa:
Vanessa Plante- Has been a part of the APTA family for 10 years. She is a native Floridian and grew up in the Boca area. Vanessa graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology before continuing on to complete her 2 year program to become a licensed PTA.
She has always loved the water and is a life-long swimmer, including 10 years with the Boca chapter of the National Masters Team. Vanessa continues to enjoy the pool with her two young daughters whom she teaches water safety skills to and is passionate about incorporating movements used in the water for her physical therapy programs with her patients.
Vanessa also enjoys reading, kayaking, working out with her husband and playing with her children.

MEET OUR HEAD PHYSICAL THERAPIST MARGARET PEREZ:
Margaret was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. She received her degree in Physical Therapy from NYU. Margaret has been practicing for a total of 28 years, 18 of which she has been the head Physical Therapist of our APTA team. She enjoys the challenge of doing initial evaluations. Margaret is well versed in orthopedics as well as in lymphatic,neurological and vestibular disorders. When Margaret is not practicing, she loves to run, hang out with her two just about grown sons and travel with her husband.
