The boardwalk is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Meet Erin, an Assistant Naturalist at Daggerwing Nature Center. You can typically find her out in our butterfly garden looking for caterpillars and seeds. In this video, she introduces you to the Daggerwing caterpillar.

Seeing a raccoon out during the day is usually normal and does not mean it has rabies.

Common reasons raccoons will be out during the day:
- searching for food
- caring for young
- urbanization

Happy Summerween! We decided to celebrate Halloween early this year by having a creepy critters program in August!

Join us August 1 at 10:30 am to learn all about creepy critters, such as spiders, centipedes, snakes and bats!

You'll get the chance to meet some live animals that many people consider creepy and learn how these creatures are uniquely special and important to the environment.
