At Banyan Learning Studio, we believe school readiness is about so much more than letters and numbers. It’s about helping children walk into the classroom feeling confident, capable, connected, and ready to participate.

Banyan Learning Studio is a small-group summer readiness program for preschool and kindergarten-aged children designed to bridge the gap between home and school in a calm, nurturing environment. We focus on the foundational habits that help children thrive in a classroom setting — listening, following routines, building independence, communicating with peers, managing emotions, and developing the confidence to raise their hand and try something new.

Our program blends hands-on learning, social-emotional development, and gentle academic support through meaningful play, collaborative activities, guided routines, and intentional teaching. Children learn through exploration, movement, creativity, and connection while building the real-life classroom skills teachers wish every child had on the first day of school.

At Banyan Learning Studio, we recognize that every child develops differently. Some children need extra confidence. Some need support adjusting to structure and routines. Others are academically capable but struggle socially or emotionally in group settings. Our small-group approach allows each child to feel seen, supported, and encouraged at their own pace.

We also believe parents deserve support during this important transition. Starting school can feel exciting and overwhelming for the entire family, and our goal is to help children — and their parents — enter the school year with greater ease and confidence.

Rooted in warmth, connection, and intentional learning, Banyan Learning Studio is designed to help children build strong foundations before school begins — because when children feel secure and prepared, they are free to grow.
