The Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting is the premier ENT-medical audiology conference.
It is expected to attract over 600 attendees including physicians, PA's, nurse practitioners, audiologists, residents, administrators, support staff, & students.
Dr. Daube is a longtime leader in Florida otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. He practices in Panama City with Gulf Coast Facial Plastics & ENT Center and has spent decades caring for patients across both specialties. He is also deeply involved in organized medicine, currently serving on the Florida Medical Association Board of Governors and as Treasurer-Designate of the FMA PAC.
He has also been a familiar face at FCOM for many years, contributing to both the clinical and Business of Medicine programming.
For FCOM 2026, Dr. Daube returns as part of the faculty for the Physician Payment & Policy Update, Facial Rejuvenation, and Lessons Learned in Facial Plastics: Discussions with the Masters sessions.
As he says, FCOM is where “you develop relationships and friends that last your entire career.”

For Dr. Osarenoma “Noma” Olomu, FCOM is about more than education. It is about knowing the people who make up Florida’s ENT community.
Dr. Olomu is a fellowship-trained rhinologist and skull base surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where he also serves as Vice Chair for Education and Residency Program Director in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery. He is also the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology and an active part of the FSO community.
As he explains, FCOM gives him the chance to spend time with physicians from across the state, including colleagues he regularly communicates with and those who refer patients to him. It is an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and better know the broader ENT community.
Dr. Olomu will also be part of the FCOM 2026 faculty, joining Sunday’s session on Tackling Recalcitrant CRS without Nasal Polyps.

Friday afternoon at FCOM 2026, Tinnitus in Practice: Evidence, Evaluation, and Management will focus on what the evidence supports and how clinicians can translate that into practical patient care.
Topics include:
• What we know, what we don’t, and what the evidence actually supports
• A clinical framework for tinnitus management in audiology
• Practical steps to take before referring a patient for additional care
The goal is straightforward: help providers evaluate tinnitus more confidently, counsel patients more effectively, and make better decisions about management and referral.

Matthew Mifsud, MD, FACS, describes FCOM as “the core for ENT in our state,” bringing together academic medicine, private practice, audiology and other members of the care team in one place.
Dr. Mifsud knows that community well. A past president of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology, he now serves as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Chief of the Ear, Nose & Throat Institute at Tampa General Hospital. His clinical work focuses on head and neck cancer, complex microvascular reconstruction and advanced salivary gland surgery.
And he’ll be back with us this November as part of the FCOM 2026 faculty, joining the session on Management of Advanced Cutaneous Head and Neck Malignancy in the Immunotherapy Era.

Friday morning at FCOM 2026, The Cochlear Implant Pathway: Candidacy, Decision-Making, and Referral will take a practical look at how patients move from identification to evaluation, counseling, referral and treatment.
Topics include:
• Adult CI candidacy
• Pediatric CI candidacy and referral
• Real-world decision-making beyond the criteria
• Counseling and referring for non-CI providers
• A surgical overview for clinicians who do not work in CI every day
