Engineering Solutions is conducting a comprehensive structural, corrosion, and waterproofing assessment for a landmark hotel property in Naples, Florida, covering two separate buildings. Our team of professional engineers is performing forensic investigations at the pool deck, roof deck, balconies, and window systems, working alongside the general contractor to remove and assess local finishes and determine the extent of deterioration.

Core samples for chloride concrete testing are being collected throughout the property to evaluate corrosion risk to the existing steel reinforcement. Our team is also evaluating the roofing and waterproofing systems, flashing conditions, and stucco finishes to identify sources of water intrusion and determine the appropriate repair path forward.

Findings from this evaluation will be compiled into an in-depth conditions assessment report, guiding the development of permit-ready repair documents. Planned repairs include new waterproofing and drainage systems, structural repairs to slabs and framing in accordance with ICRI standards, stucco and cladding restoration, and a 20-year corrosion protection system with cathodic protection in critical areas.
