From Mount Rainier to the North Cascades to Olympic, every trail, lake, mountain and view somehow felt more unreal than the last

Doing a Hyrox is always fun and challenging, but doing one with your mom makes it that much more special ✨

Getting to do something I love with one of my favorite people, in New York where we grew up, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever!

Over the last few years I’ve watched her become such a strong, healthy version of herself that not only inspires me, but so many others as well 💪🏼

But the last few months, I’ve watched her train hard, show up on the days she didn’t feel like it, and prove to herself that she’s capable of more than she thought. I’ve watched her go from being a spectator at my races to becoming an athlete herself

Before the race she said, “One and done.” By the time we crossed the finish line, she was already talking about what she’d do differently next time.

Mom, I’m so proud of you and incredibly lucky to have you. You’re badass, kind and inspire me everyday to challenge myself and become a better version of me everyday 💕

May: miles were ran, memories were made, mindsets were shifted, and magic was found in the little things ✨

April felt like one of those months where nothing was perfect, but somehow everything felt really good anyway - good people, movement, sunshine, trying new things, hanging with Miller, little moments and big lessons I won’t forget ✨

Something I said I’d never do: a solo Hyrox

So here’s proof that it happened 💪🏼✨

I could not be more proud of myself - physically, for staying strong and holding my pace throughout the race, but even more so mentally, because if I’m being honest, that was the part I was most nervous about.

While I raced by myself, it was still a full team effort. From the family and friends who supported me and showed up, to the coaches who helped prepare me, to the girl I met in the start tunnel, and even the strangers cheering for other people that I pretended were cheering for me - thank you. I truly could not have done it without you 💛

Before we were released from the start tunnel, we were asked what kind of woman we wanted to show up as that day - and I’m sure as hell proud of the woman I showed up as on Sunday 🥹
