And before people get defensive, hear me out. I fully believe in “in the bizz” perks, mutually beneficial exchanges, collaborations, and content arrangements that make sense for BOTH sides. That’s business.

But what I won’t do anymore is shrink my standards to make other people comfortable.

Your business is built on YEARS of education, experience, sacrifice, knowledge, investment, and consistency. If you want to scale into a real company, you have to start treating it like one. Policies matter. Boundaries matter. Standards matter.

And if someone suddenly stops “supporting” you because you enforce those standards, that’s not support. That’s entitlement. That’s the mentality that you owe them something simply because they know you.

The people who truly respect what you’re building will never ask you to devalue it.

Don’t procrastinate, just get it done.
