✨ Employee Spotlight: Meet Collen, Operations Manager

Meet Collen, our Operations Manager!

A third-generation carpenter, Collen has been around construction since he was 12 years old, learning the trade from his grandfather right here in the Lowcountry. After graduating from Clemson University, he joined Kendrick Design-Build and has grown from Field Manager to Project Manager, and now leads our day-to-day operations.

When he's not at work, you'll find him spending time with his wife, Katherine, cheering on their favorite football team, trying new local restaurants, or relaxing by the water with a good book.

We're proud to have Collen's leadership and expertise on our team!

✨ Employee Spotlight: Meet Katie, Director of Business Development

Katie graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, in 2005, and shortly after, began her career in Lowcountry real estate. With more than 20 years of experience spanning real estate, property management, and custom home building, she brings a wealth of knowledge and strong local relationships to the Kendrick Design-Build team.

When she's not helping clients bring their visions to life, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, cheering on her daughter, Mackenzie, at competitions, or relaxing at the Colleton River Sandbar.

We're grateful to have Katie's experience, dedication, and enthusiasm as part of our team!

Great homes begin with great leadership.

Meet Mark Kendrick, the owner and founder of Kendrick Design-Build, and the first feature in our Employee Spotlight series.

A Beaufort County native with more than 20 years of construction experience, Mark combines local expertise with a hands-on approach to create custom homes built to last. Originally a framer by trade, he has a talent for maximizing space, ensuring structural integrity, and solving challenges before construction even begins.

When he's not on the jobsite, you'll find Mark volunteering in the community, spending time on the water, or with his wife, Anna, and their daughters, Ava and Abigail.

We're proud to have his leadership guiding our team every day.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who answered the call, and recognize the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
