July 1 marks our 1 year anniversary. We are so very grateful. Thank you Rhonda, David, Sherry, Joni, Stacy, Cyndi! Amazon orders are coming in! We will get the shelves restocked with your help ❤️. Our biggest needs right now - canned meats, jelly, margarine, milk, breakfast foods. I am truly amazed at how fast the year has gone by and the 1000's of hours our volunteers have given.

Starting June 1st - Aug.6th - KIDS Summer Sack Lunch Project provides free, nutritious sack lunches to children (Pre-K through high school) during the summer months. There is no registration or paperwork requirement. Take away Sack Lunches will be available Monday – Thursday 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Community Garden Kitchen, 501 Howard Street, McKinney.

A huge thank you to Jason Garner Custom Welding! The sign for the resource center has been fixed properly. We are so very grateful for your integrity and workmanship regarding appropriate installation. We will be open tomorrow 8-10 am! Free read library, gardener seed library, and pantry as well. Keep those cans coming! We turned them in today - $403!

Kroger delivers to the pantry!! Please consider a donation of milk, ketchup, mustard, mayo, jelly, margarine. Milk is on sell this week!

Because of our incredible volunteers and community support, our team now serves over 100 volunteer hours each week, and we’ve recently welcomed several new volunteers to the BRFR family. 💙

There are many ways you can help support our mission:
♻️ Help remove and dispose of excess boxes outside the pantry
🥤 Aluminum can recycling (trailer required, about 4 hours monthly, $20 gas reimbursement provided)pick up is Barber Blue Ranch and cans are dropped off at Cyclone recycling in Princeton - this can be dirty sticky work.
➡️ We also need aluminum cans dropped off at the pantry. This recycling program raises over $200 each month to help support our mission. ♻️
📦 Return crates to Samaritan Inn in McKinney
👚 Sort and fold clothing donations
🛒 Help work open pantry hours
