HAIEA is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Its goal is to improve the lives of children, adults, and families in our community by using positive and healthy interactions with animals. In addition, HAIEA will educate children about animals, science, and nature using hands-on methods with live animals. The special relationships people have with animals can be used in many ways. We believe that by learning about animals and how to care for them, children develop a heightened sense of empathy, responsibility, and connectedness.
