This weeks recruit spotlight is on Molly Jahromi. Molly impressed us from day 1 using her height and athletic ability to ace the physical agility test. She also is doing great in her book work and tests. GO MOLLY.

What made you want to become a firefighter? Being a Fannin County resident for over 20 years, I wanted to become a firefighter to help the community. Being able to positively impact Fannin County is something that I’m passionate about.

What is your favorite and least favorite part of recruit school? I have thoroughly enjoyed recruit class because it is very challenging and pushes me beyond my limits. The growth I’ve seen in myself during this process has been incredible. I’d have to say my least favorite part of the class has been the quick dress and that is only because I have had a tough time with it.

What do you enjoy doing outside of recruit school?Outside of recruit class, I am an avid weight lifter and love to workout. Aside from that, being home with my fur babies is my happy place.

Who has influenced you throughout the class?Some of my positive influences throughout the class are Jason Turner, Ali Wingfield, and Nelson Soreiro.

Self bio I am a self employed esthetician here in Blue Ridge and have been in this industry for almost 20 years. My home is in Cherrylog where I live with my three dogs and four cats. I am a coach at Refuge Fitness and thoroughly enjoy helping people to be their best

In light of the sad situation our neighbors of North Carolina are enduring right now, The Nail Loft will be accepting donations in attempt to help ease some of the stress.
