We just rescued Kensi from ACCT Philly yesterday (shoutout to them for saving this boy!)

He was found as a stray, and he weighs only 15 lbs. He is unbelievably emaciated; you can see every rib and bone in his body. It was clear he was surviving on nothing for way too long. 💔

Being a typical dog though, he is still incredibly sweet. He rises above his past and has been nothing but grateful. 💙 Last night, he had his first night in foster care. It was probably the best night's sleep of his life! 💤

Medical cases like Kensi require urgent vet care, high-quality food and ongoing support. All things that cost money. 💲 But in addition to Kensi, we are caring for 100+ other dogs at any given point. Dogs that require food and vet care as well.

We are asking for donations by sharing Kensi's story but in hopes that all our dogs can benefit. Even $1 can make a difference!

"We adopted Bogey (aka Maine) in April 2022. He has brought so much laughter and even more love into our lives. He loves lamb chop and tennis balls. His favorite spot to be is on the couch looking out our front window as everyone waves to him. He was the perfect addition to our little family!"

Oh sorry, hi there! I'm Rainey, an 8-year-old Beagle mix, professional couch potato 🛋, expert snuggler 💛, and self-appointed queen of the back seat 👑. Seriously...I hop right into the car like it's my personal Uber ride.

I am:

✅ Crate, house & leash-trained

✅ Good with dogs

✅ Good with kids

🚫 No cats

When we're not out on an adventure, you'll usually find me curled up beside my favorite people. I'm happiest when life is simple: a nice walk, a comfy couch, a few belly rubs, and someone to love. That's really all I ask!

Now, I'll let you in on a little secret...I'm currently rocking 52 pounds and could stand to lose a few. 😅 Lucky for me, I love walks, so getting healthier sounds like a pretty fun plan if we do it together!

My foster keeps telling everyone I'm one of the easiest dogs she's ever had, and honestly...I'll take the compliment! I love every person I meet, get along wonderfully with her dog (though I'd much rather nap than wrestle 💪), and I have excellent house manners. I lived with my previous family for five years and haven't had a single accident since coming into foster care. At bedtime, I'm perfectly happy sleeping in my crate, but if you let me free roam, I'll quietly curl up next to your bed and snooze until morning. 😴

My previous owner loved me very much but became too ill to care for me, so through no fault of either of ours, I found myself looking for a new beginning. ❤️

I already know what a loving home and family feels like. It's warm blankets, couch snuggles and lots of love (from me and you!). 💗 I'm just waiting to be that last easy puzzle piece to your family...as long as you save me a spot on the couch 😉
