Check this out!

Dear KDR brothers...I am an IU alumnus (Nu 1987)...I was recently down at IU this weekend to attend the wedding of a niece (who also graduated from IU)...while i was pretty busy and unable to meet with any of you, I started thinking about posting some of the stories from my days on campus (1982-1987) and at the house on 3rd Street...I also have many photos from those years that I need to get scanned to share online...some of you in private messages suggested that you would love to hear stories from the 1980's, so I will share what i feel is appropriate for Facebook (yes, we all have stories, especially fraternity stories, which aren't exactly "fit" for Facebook)...so, I shall start this with a photo of me standing outside of the house shortly before it was demolished...it was in the spring of 2008 when i was attending the graduation of my nephew...I am glad I got the photo then, because a year later when I was down to attend the graduation of my niece (the lady who got married yesterday), the house was GONE and in its place was just grass...a small park with the steps from the sidewalk still in place...flash forward to this past weekend...I enjoyed a long walk throughout pretty much the entire campus for 4 hours (I was staying at a hotel along Walnut on the NW corner of campus...and Saturday morning had perfect walking weather...and IU is a great place to enjoy walking!)...I eventually made my way to where the house used to stand...instead of finding a park, I found a HUGE new building for the School of Music...yes, this is where our beautiful house once stood...so think of KDR every time you walk past the new SoM building at 3rd Street (just after the place it turns into a one-way street) and Jordan...your brother, Dennis
