No Flock in Bloomington!! 🔥🔥
At yesterday's City Council Meeting, both council and the public pushed against Flock and other mass surveillance that endangers Bloomington. Now, we need to ban technology like Flock in Monroe County. No other companies, no Flock at IU, no Flock in the Sheriff's Office. ❌
Ban it. Nothing less.

Pack City Hall, Demand a full ban of surveillance like Flock: Wednesday, April 22, 6:30pm!
The Mayor has intentionally obscured the City's relationship to Flock for the past 6 weeks, and still has not committed to removing technologies like Flock that aid ICE. The Mayor let the contract with Flock expire, but Bloomington Police *still* use Flock cameras for the past 6 weeks. With the passage of Indiana Senate Bill 76, any surveillance data could be abused by ICE to attack poor and immigrant communities. The only way to protect our community is a *ban* of technologies like Flock. Nothing less.
At City Council next Wednesday, demand the city ban technologies like Flock that endanger everyone. Ban Flock and mass surveillance like it. Abolish ICE. 🚫🧊

Chapter Meeting!! Monday, April 7 at 7pm at First United Church and on Discord! 😊
This last month, we continued to work with Bloomington Homes for All to preserve 29 units of affordable housing, pushed our anti-Flock campaign, demanded "Hands off Iran" at No Kings, and finished the second night of our Candidate Forum.
This month? More socialism. 🫡
See you Monday 💕

Pack the City Council Meeting March 4 to demand that Bloomington cut the contract with Flock and ban mass surveillance that aids ICE!
The Mayor has not publicly committed to end Bloomington Police's $250,000 contract with Flock for over 40 cameras. I.C.E. relies on mass surveillance like Flock—with and without a warrant—to attack poor and immigrant communities. The only way to ensure I.C.E. cannot access this surveillance data is to ban collecting it altogether.
On March 4 at 6:30pm, Bloomington City Council will introduce a resolution to end this type of surveillance. We want to pack the room to send a clear message:
No I.C.E. Ban Flock. Cut the Contract.
