Our Story

P/L/R Insurance began as a dream for Jim and Jackie Petrov when they started selling insurance out of their home in 1969.

Nearly two decades later, they were ready to take their dream to the next level. The Petrov Insurance Agency opened in Tremont, Illinois in 1988.

Soon after, Etta Reed joined the Petrov Insurance Team, and by 2002, Etta was a partner. Then, in 2003, Bill Lawrence joined the Petrov Team and became a partner as well.

In 2005, P/L/R Insurance was formed; continuing the tradition of offering exceptional service all while finding innovative ways to make your insurance dollars go further.

In 2010, P/L/R grew; bringing the same great satisfaction to Pekin, Illinois and Bloomington, Illinois that customers in Tremont had come to expect over the past four decades.
