Compass Early Learning Center

✨ What better way to explore our light study than with glow sticks and playdough!? 💡🌈 Check out these pictures of our Seahorses strengthening their fine motor skills while exploring light! Learning through play is always a bright idea!

🐢✨ A little clay fun in the Sea Turtle Room! Our students had a ball making balls—rolling, squishing, shaping, and exploring what they could create with their hands. Such a simple activity, but so much learning packed into it! 💚

🐧🏗️ A little peek at our Penguin Room over the last couple of weeks as we dive into our **Building Study!** Our students have been busy exploring how things are built, sharing their ideas, creating with different materials, and putting their imaginations to work. So much learning happens when we give students the time and space to build, experiment, and figure things out! 💙✨

🍎✨ Happy World Teachers’ Day to our incredible team!

Every day, you show up with patience, creativity, compassion, and so much heart. You teach, encourage, comfort, celebrate, and make a difference in the lives of our students in more ways than you probably realize. 💙

Thank you for everything you do each and every day to make Compass such a special place to learn, grow, and play. We are so lucky to have YOU! 🥰

💙 **Families, help us celebrate our amazing teachers!** Leave a little love, a thank-you, or a favorite memory in the comments below. We’d love for our teachers to see just how much they mean to our Compass families! 🍎✨

🦦💤 Last Friday was full of pajamas, smiles, and a little Show & Tell fun! Our Otter Room had the best kind of day—cozy clothes, special treasures from home, and lots of sharing, talking, and listening with friends. 💙✨

Celebrating 3 years of Ms. Jamie! 💙🎉

As our cook, Ms. Jamie plays such an important part in keeping our Compass kiddos happy, healthy, and well-fed. We’re so thankful for all the care she puts into the meals she prepares each day.

Happy 3-Year Anniversary, Ms. Jamie! 🥳

🐬 A little splash of Dolphin Room fun from last week! 💦✨ Our students were busy playing, exploring, creating, and discovering—and, of course, making plenty of memories along the way! 💙

🎨💦 A little creativity and a lot of exploring in the Puffin room! 💛🌿

🏗️ **The Penguins are building their knowledge!** 🏠

Our Penguin students are diving into a study all about **buildings**! They’ve been reading books, watching a short video, and sharing what they already know about buildings and what they’re curious to learn.

They’re also putting their ideas into action by creating their **own buildings using triangles, squares, and rectangles**. Through these hands-on experiences, students are exploring shapes, design, problem-solving, creativity, and so much more—all while learning through play! 💛

We can’t wait to see where their building study takes them next! 🏢✨

Play is not just something children do. It is how they learn, explore, create, connect, and make sense of the world.
