RECIPE HERE for homemade, non-toxic, laundry detergent : • 2 cups WASHING SODA (if you don’t have it in hand, you can bake baking soda at 400 degrees for 1-2 hours until grainy to make your own) • 2 cups BAKING SODA • 2/3 cup EPSOM SALT • 3 Tablespoons SALT • (optional) 20-30 drops essential oil of choice for scent Mix it all up and use 1 Tablespoon per load, or 2 Tablespoons for a bigger or greasier load! *Bonus Tip* I like to use 1/2 cup white vinegar in the fabric softener slot of the washer :) Why these ingredients? Washing soda has a high alkalinity, helping to remove grease and stains. Baking soda helps to soften the water and keep clothes bright. Epsom salts help to soften fabric and remove dirt.
