It’s been a rough 3 years…but we’re making our way back to normalcy. The Yellowhammer Print Shop is coming out of hibernation and is ready to serve. Come through and see us as we finishing getting this thing out back together.

Come celebrate 50 Years of Legacy Arena at the BJCC with us!!! Starting at 3pm with all sorts of fun activities, games, food trucks, capped by a concert from The Black Jacket Symphony. And it’s all FREE!!! We were honored to design and print some special memorabilia for the event, including some limited edition posters and tote bags which are yours to take home when you successfully complete the scavenger hunt. Andddd, we’ll be onsite with a live printing activity, print your own commutative postcards! It’s gonna be a ton of fun, so bring the whole fam and come on down!!! Can’t catch the concert, but have the World Cup bug? Birmingham Legion FC kicks off next door at 7pm. So what are you waiting for? We’ll see you downtown!!!

We’re going home!!! In June 2025 we were lucky to move our production studio into an empty warehouse TRIMTAB BREWING CO. after 2+ years of fighting on multiple fronts to keep Yellowhammer alive. The result was a crash course in consolidating our resources and some serious soul-searching about what the next decade holds for our humble little print shop. In March 2026 we finally achieved our dream of having production & retail in the same space again. This new approach has made Yellowhammer nimble and ready to grow again. We’ve super excited to be getting things back on track. But with the unfortunate news of TrimTab closing the tasting galley, we felt it was best to go ahead and make our final long term move. So we’re headed back to the place it all started, our old building in Avondale!!! We are doing our best to make the transition as smooth as possible and we hope to reopen the Print Shop store by July. In the meantime, shop at yellowhammer.org!!!! Save the Date! The Yellowhammer Market is launching May 9th at the Yellowhammer Print Shop. Our new studio location has room to spread out, so we’re inviting 15+ local vendors every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month to showcase their talents. The market is free to vend and free to attend! So if you’re looking for a new platform, or to support local, check it out! Vendor submissions are open now at yellowhammer.org. The lottery to choose our May Vendors is Wednesday.
