We remain amazed by this expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With the additional 16,000 square feet, it has become the largest facility of its type between Mobile and Birmingham. The expansion was created to elevate the quality of care available to newborns while maintaining a family-centered environment.

Almost 4 years ago, we had the opportunity to be part of Cullman’s grand opening for the ER expansion and renovation. Projects may come to an end, but the impact they leave on the community, and on us, lasts far beyond the final design. We’re grateful to have played a role in creating a space that continues to serve and support others every day.

Another great Birdies for Babies supporting ⛳️ 😎 This year’s tournament raised $215K for their NICU departments 👏👏

Spanning 13,000 sq ft, Baptist Health Primary Care Partners in Pike Road brings together primary patient services in a space designed to feel calm, welcoming, and connected to the community through soft blue tones and local photography.

Where little personalities meet big design ✨

This kids’ space takes their branding colors and gives them a playful twist, from the accent check-in to the colorful seating and fun wave wall that brings the whole room to life. 🌈

The Emergency Department expansion at Baptist South Medical Center increases their capacity from 53 to 83 treatment rooms and adds 11,205 square feet to better serve patients across the region. As the largest healthcare facility in the area, this expansion will make a meaningful difference for many families.

Design Innovations was honored to provide the interior design, creating a space where thoughtful color, calming elements, and timeless design help support patients and caregivers during critical moments. Grateful to contribute to a project that puts people first.

This student space got a complete renovation designed to bring students together. With an open layout, bold colors, and a brand-new indoor basketball court, the goal was simple: create a space that feels social, active, and full of life.

Look up in the commons and you’ll notice a hidden detail, the ceiling light fixtures reflect the student’s youth group logo when viewed from below. A subtle moment of branding woven right into the design. 💡
