October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year, our team is rallying around something deeply personal to our hearts.
We are so proud to launch our limited-edition Connected for a Cure collection, dedicated in loving memory of Denise, the beloved mother of our CEO, Brandi.
Watching her mom dedicate her life to healthcare inspired Brandi from a young age to pursue healthcare leadership, driven by a deep desire to build environments where healthcare providers feel truly seen, heard, and valued. But when Denise faced breast cancer, their family experienced care from the other side at CTCA (now City of Hope Atlanta).
That experience profoundly shaped how Brandi approaches caring for others. In Brandi’s words:
“The care she received reinforced the idea that the environment in which the care you receive and the thought that goes into individualized care matters, arguably, more than the science behind the meds and the outcome of the care. Being compassionate to those we serve, their families, and the ones we work alongside is something we hope to never lose.”
In honor of Denise’s legacy and in deep gratitude to the incredible team at City of Hope Atlanta who showed her family such profound warmth and dignity, we want to give back.
Throughout October, a portion of proceeds from every tee and cozy sweatshirt in this collection will be donated directly to City of Hope Atlanta to support compassionate patient care and breast cancer research.
Thank you for wearing your support, honoring Denise’s memory with us, and being part of this full-circle moment!

Delayed, Not Denied. 💜🌈
Tonight, we had the privilege of celebrating XVIBham at their annual Delayed Not Denied Gala — and we’re so proud to partner with this incredible organization not just tonight, but year-round.
We ate amazing food, spent the evening with some pretty wonderful people, made new connections, and most importantly, supported a foundation doing meaningful work for children and families in our community.
One message from Alli tonight especially stuck with us: when you have a child with special needs, there isn’t always a black-and-white roadmap. There isn’t one clear avenue to success. Every child’s path can look completely different.
So tonight, we were invited to dress colorfully — representing all of those different pathways and reminding us that sometimes, our job is simply to be the color in a child’s life.
That’s a message we can absolutely get behind.
We love being part of the community. We love finding organizations whose missions align with ours. And we especially love getting to work alongside people who believe, like we do, that every child deserves the opportunity to find their path to success.
Thank you, XVI, for letting Connected ABA Collaborative be a small part of something so special. 💚💜
Here’s to being the color. 🌈

We are so thankful for our partnership with Progress Therapy Services, LLC 💙
Our clinicians and families have direct access to Dr. Shaba Howard and her incredible team across all three of our clinics, and we truly could not be more grateful for the collaboration between our ABA and speech teams.
Communication is so much more than spoken words and AAC can be an incredibly important tool in helping a child express their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings. When our speech therapists recommend AAC, we encourage our families to lean into that recommendation and give their child every available opportunity to communicate. 🗣️💬
ABA + Speech + families working together = better support for our kiddos. 🫶🏼
At Progress Therapy Services, we believe communication is a right—not a reward. For children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), their communication device is more than a tablet or therapy tool—it is their voice.
One of the most common concerns we hear is: “If my child uses a device, will they still learn to talk?”
AAC is not about giving up on verbal speech. A child may know what they want, need, or want to share but have difficulty producing the words verbally. AAC gives them another pathway to communicate while their speech-language pathologist continues working to develop receptive language, expressive language, social communication, and spoken language when appropriate.
That’s why consistent access matters.
A child’s communication system should travel with them—to therapy, school, ABA, home, and throughout the community. We want our children to have access to their voices wherever they go.

CABA is growing, and we’re looking for RBTs AND future RBTs to join our teams in Gadsden, Homewood & Hoover!
Not an RBT yet? That’s okay - we’ll train you! 🙌
You’ll receive paid, hands-on training alongside our team, get to meet our kiddos, learn what ABA looks like in real life, and have a whole lot of fun while you work toward becoming an RBT.
Come see what CABA is all about. 🫶

Happy 2nd Birthday, CABA! 🥳
Two years of connection. Two years of growth. Two years of doing what we love with some pretty incredible little humans. 💙

🐾 Happy National Dog Day to CABA’s unofficially-official mascot, Finn! 💚
He’s lounging. He’s napping. He’s visiting our neighbors. He’s getting CPR certified. He’s posted around Hoover like a wanted fugitive so nobody accidentally lets him out.
And most importantly, he LOVES our kiddos - and they love him right back.
One of our favorite things is watching clients who are unsure or afraid of dogs slowly become curious about Finn, wanting to feel his fur, learning how to gently pet him, and getting a little braver at their own pace. 🥹
And to the CABA families who have had to buy a dog because their kid fell in love with Finn… our apologies. 😂🐶

Fall is always one of the most bittersweet seasons at Connected ABA. 🍂💙
As we celebrate **11 incredible kiddos** moving on to their next chapter whether it be Pre-K, Kindergarten, and beyond, we also welcome new learners beginning their own journeys with us.
It's a season filled with both happy and heavy hearts. We say goodbye to children we've had the privilege of watching grow while opening our doors to families who are just beginning their ABA journey.
To our graduates and their families: thank you for trusting us, especially those who have been with us since the very beginning of CABA. Being a small part of your child's growth has been one of our greatest honors, and we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished. We know they'll continue to do amazing things.
To our dedicated staff: thank you for the patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment you pour into every child, every single day. Your hard work helps make moments like these possible.
And to every family who has trusted us with their children - thank you. We are so grateful to walk alongside you during such an important season of life.
Here's to celebrating how far our graduates have come, welcoming new beginnings, and continuing to change lives together. 💙✨

We hope y’all had a COOL Fourth of July weekend! 😎🇺🇸
Our kiddos kicked things off last week with water day, rocket pops, BIG smiles, and a visit from Kona Ice! 🍧💙 We may have had a few brain freezes, but they were totally worth it.
The fun didn’t stop the learning, either! Our friends practiced making choices, identifying colors, communicating, waiting their turn, and using all those awesome skills they work on every day, all while enjoying a sweet treat.
