The September Shift is over. 🍂
One of my goals in September was to go deeper in the Word. I’ll be honest, I didn’t do it perfectly. Some days I showed up. Some days it didn’t go as planned. But that was the whole point: to find out what happens when I stop waiting for perfect and start being consistent.
And now, I have a new tool to help me carry this into October.
I just got the Every Woman’s Bible: Journaling Edition (NLT) , and I’m already in love with it. The layout is beautiful, the study tools actually help me understand what I’m reading, and the wide margins give me space to process. It doesn’t feel like another thing on my to do list. It feels like an invitation to drawer nearer to God.
I’m not done going deeper. So I’m carrying this into October. No pressure. No perfection. Just showing up, one page at a time.

Sometimes we just need a gentle reminder.
When the perfectionism creeps in and tells you that you have to figure everything out on your own, remember: God is already making a way. He's in control. He's fighting for you. And even in the waiting, He's working.
You don't have to carry the weight of the world today. You just have to trust the One who holds it.

Overthinking. Worrying. Holding on to what you can’t control.
I’ve been there. Replaying conversations. Predicting worst-case scenarios. Carrying burdens that were never mine to bear.
But here’s what I’m learning: not everything deserves my energy. Not everything is mine to fix. And the peace I’m chasing isn’t found in figuring it all out,it’s found in surrendering it all to the One who already holds it.
