Healing from Narcissistic Abuse Step 3. Allow:
Allow yourself to grieve the hurt and the pain that comes with a bad heart investment. Just like if you’ve invested your money in a bad investment and had a loss, it hurts. But you learn not to do that again. You can allow yourself to grieve, but learn not to repeat the same patterns.

I don't believe anyone can successfully avoid love. We are created and designed for it. So why is it so complicated???

🖤 We don't keep it in God's set design.
🖤 We settle for what we feel like we can get.
🖤 We lose ourselves in it.
🖤 We expect another person to fulfill us.

How do we resolve this complicated Love puzzle?
🖤 Heal from past wounds.
🖤 Learn what love is from God.
🖤 Set boundaries.
🖤 Believe that you deserve healthy relationships.
🖤 Know that God sets our value, not another human.

Y’all! No one prepares you for when your precious clients that you journey life with die!!! I lost Neal in November and now super sweet Sabrina Jones Thomas. Man!! I cannot tell you the roads we walked together. The miles of life we carried together. She has always been the sweetest, smiliest, cheerleading encourager who loved Jesus as much as I do!!!
When she got her diagnosis, we cried together. I knew this time was different.
Girl!! I will miss your socks off this side of heaven, but I cannot wait to rejoice with you there!!

Holidays are better with BOUNDARIES!!
Why?
1) Boundaries help you keep a strong line where you begin and end. People do not tend to attack or harass people with strong boundaries in place.

2) Boundaries help you find joy in the midst of chaos. They help you be decisive when other's are not, so you will not find yourself wondering whether you can handle a situation. You already know.

3) Boundaries give you a timeline and time frame that only you can alter! When Aunt Susie starts begging you to stay longer, you are prepared ahead of time to say,"I love you Aunt Susie, but it is time for me to leave." And off you go.

This time of year, you may interact with friends and family that you don't interact with regularly. They may not know you well. This is when boundaries can be so beneficial.

I cannot possibly…and I have spent days thinking on it, sum up Neal Tillman in a social media post!!! Every 3 weeks for TWENTY YEARS we have spent time together. We have laughed, cried, cheered and encouraged each other through 20 years of life. Every heart break to every mountain top, Neal, you have been a constant, steady and dependable force! There were days I counted down until you got there so we could talk!!! I needed your wit and cheerleading and humor!!!
We never left without saying,”I love you!!”
I never in a million years could have known that that last Tuesday was the last day I would ever set eyes on you again. I would’ve talked with you til midnight and I would have hugged you for an hour! I would’ve made it awkward!
You are forever a part of my story!! You are forever a part of my heart!! You are going to be missed more than you will ever know. I love you Neal!! 🖤😭🖤😭
