Thank you to Cassandra Grimes for an insightful presentation on ethical storytelling.

Cassandra challenged us to take a dignity-first approach and use strengths-based framing as we share stories about our organizations' impact. By centering the experiences, strengths, and humanity of the people we serve, we can build trust, strengthen relationships, and communicate our mission with authenticity.

We're grateful to Cassandra for sharing practical tools and thoughtful guidance that will help us become more ethical and effective storytellers.

HOGEWOOD CHAMBERLAIN SCHOLAR
We are proud to support Meredith Hutcheson, our chapter’s Montgomery Hogewood Chamberlain Scholar, who attended AFP ICON this year!

Meredith shared that “it was a great experience and I'm grateful for the support of the chapter.”

Investing in professional development is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen the future of fundraising in Alabama, and we are proud to honor our long-time chapter member Monty Hogewood who believed in professional development and mentoring. We’re grateful to help make this opportunity possible. 💙
