Alfred A. is a CSL Plasma donor in San Antonio, Texas, and has been donating plasma for just a few months. He shares he has found time for donating plasma regularly in his routine and appreciates the efficient experiences he has had, while being able to make a difference for others.

Alfred recalls from his time spend in the U.S. army how a therapy from donated plasma was used to treat a friend suffering from burns while deployed.

“Plasma was one of his many treatments,” he shares. “The impact that had on me is that you never really think of the importance of donating until something happens to you or someone you care about who ends up needing a plasma-based therapy.”

: The CSL Plasma team in Port Arthur, Texas, spent Free Comic Book Day earlier this month helping share awareness at a local comic store on how to be a superhero by donating plasma.

The day seeks to attract new readers to independent comic book stores. It usually takes place on the first Saturday of May and is often cross-promoted with the release of a superhero film.

Our U.S. CSL Plasma Centers will be open on Memorial Day. Please note that centers will close no earlier than 6 p.m. Come donate plasma with us this weekend, do the amazing and help save lives!

Kyle is Center Supervisor of one of CSL Plasma’s newest centers, set to open in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the five years since Kyle started with the company as a Custodian, he has found a rewarding career journey. He has also donated plasma for six years.

“I find the opportunities CSL offers are truly amazing, and my job is one I enjoy,” shares Kyle. “I am grateful for the career paths I have found and enjoy working as a team. CSL Plasma gives me the chance to continue to learn and grow.”

"Hi! My name is Emily, and I am 19 years old. I am a sophomore is college majoring in public health. I have a primary immune deficiency called common variable immune deficiency (CVID). CVID makes me more susceptible to infections. and I can get very sick.

I receive a plasma-based therapy every three weeks. Plasma donors are a vital part of keeping me healthy and allowing me to pursue college and live a healthy life. Often, plasma donors are unaware of the importance of their donation in the lives of many, including myself. I am indebted to those who donate plasma and help to keep me healthy."
