Food2Kids Big Spring

Here are some pictures of the History of Food 2 Kids when we used to fill the Sack bags at Lakeview High School. We would meet on Monday and Tuesday evening and Fill from 300 to 400 bag every week through out the School year.

Here are some pictures of the Food 2 Kids members and volunteers participating in the Tate's Place back to school supplies Bash this pass Saturday. Food 2 kids gave away 150.00 food Bags Plus over 600 Food 2 Kids tote Bags. Over all it was a Great success.

Ok here are some pictures of our President Jaime Walker presenting Food packages to the kids at Pathway Academy last week so that the 60+ students would have Food to take home during the Christmas Holidays. God is Good.

Today Food 2 Kids participated in the Tate's Place Back to School Bash at the Old Settlers Pavilion from 9am to 12 noon. Food 2 Kids members were Karen Carman , Linda Conway, Linda Weaver and President Jamie Walker and they gave away 500 Food 2 Kids Tote backs with our information inside of it. They also gave away 100 Food 2 Kids food Bags plus oranges . The giveaway was a great success.

We are sad to announce that Pam Steele is leaving us in August and will be replaced with Jaime Walker as President of the Food 2 Kids Program. Mrs. Steele has being our guiding force at Food 2 Kids for 7 years and has done alot to advance our Organization into our next Chapter. We will miss her alot but we know that where ever she goes she Will also make that town a better place to live in. We also want to welcome our New President of The Food 2 Kids Program. Mrs Jaime Walker is alot a leader in many Organization that she has been involved in and we look that she will leads us into the next Chapter of Food 2 Kids. May God Continue to Bless these 2 Wonderful Ladies.

🍎Food 2 Kids Big Spring distributed 833 food sacks this summer to children in need in our community 🍎
We provided food sacks at Loredo Hills Apartments, Park Village Apartments, Knollwood Heights Apartments, Limestone Ridge Apartments, Howard County Resources Center, First Love Mission Center, and the Family Faith Center.
🍎We are now preparing to provide weekend food sacks for students during the 2024 - 2025 school year. We will be serving Marcy Elementary, Moss Elementary, Big Spring Intermediate, Coahoma Elementary, and Forsan Elementary.🍎

Thank you to Jay Patel for donating to Food 2 Kids Big Spring! Food 2 Kids has distributed 784 food sacks this summer to low-income apartment complexes and other nonprofits that work with kids during the summer. We are preparing for the new school year to ensure that any elementary-age child needing a weekend food sack will be served.
