Big Spring Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital

Join us in Midland tomorrow for the Grand Opening of Midland Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital!

Meet our Texas Tech Veterinary student, Emily, from the class of 2027! 📚✏️🎓

Emily has a winning personality 🌟 and the brains 🧠 to match! We actually met Emily 2 years ago when her husband was a student with us and their dog needed a CT 🩻. Ringo is managed on seizure medication💊 and is in good hands with not just 1, but soon to be 2 veterinary parents ❤️

We love having you in Big Spring Emily! Good luck to the rest of your year!

We are closed today for in-house continuing education. We look forward to seeing you on Monday!

📝Managers attend CE too! 📚

Last week our admin teams went to Southwest Veterinary Symposium in San Antonio, TX🌺 where we learned about fine tuning our services, creating better client experiences and bettering our culture!✨ We feel charged and ready to bring new ideas to our hospitals. ⚕

We're ready to work!👏

See you at the Howard County Fair this Sunday! Pre-register here: https://forms.gle/1jzHVResEEE99Q2y5

Meet our current TTU student: Alek! 🎉

Alek is a Class of 2027 Veterinary student joining us for a clinical rotation. His eagerness to learn 📚and persistent work ethic 💪was a great combination for an intensive month at BVDH! Alek got a taste of what quality small animal medicine can look like here in the Permian Basin🐾🐱💉. Let’s wish him luck on the rest of his 4th year! 🍀

Learning never really ends for veterinarians! Did you know that vets need 17hours of continuing education every year in order to maintain their license?

Doctors from across West Texas joined us to learn about some updates in veterinarian medicine as well as refresh on old topics. They covered topics including compounding medicine💊, respiratory infection in cattle🐄🐮, treating cushing patients 🏥and zoonotic diseases 🦠.

We love being able to host this annual Mixed Animal Summit with the help of Boehringer Ingelheim and Dechra!

If you’re a DVM in the area and want to be kept up to date on CE hosted here, leave us your email!

Let’s give a warm welcome to the newest doctor in town: Dr. Naila Garcia!

Dr. Garcia is a south Texas native who was introduced to west Texas through the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine. Lucky for us, she didn’t mind the wind 😉

She cannot wait to meet you and your pet in the exam room, as well as taking care of them in the surgery room.

Let’s give Dr. Garcia a nice warm welcome!

Happy Happy Birthday Ana! 🎂❤️

BVDH would like to wish our technician Ana an amazing birthday! 🎉
Ana is a person of many talents.
She can brighten up even the darkest of days, help save your fur babies life, or even bake you an amazing cake. 🍰 She is sweet as pie 🥧 and always willing help when she is needed. We are lucky to have such an amazing team member.
Help us shower Ana with sweetness on her special day! 🩷🩷🩷
