Dog box for sale — $150

We acquired this dog box with a dog we recently picked up and don’t have a use for it. Still has plenty of life left in it!

Alright hog dog folks, we’re thinning the pack a little and have decided to move this guy along.

He’s a Walker/BMC cross. We started with him and his sister, and those two have found hogs over and over. He has also gone out on his own and found his own pigs, so we KNOW the nose is there.

He is silent on trail and soft on a hog — he’ll bay, but putting teeth on one isn’t his thing.

Since adding hounds and other dogs to our pack, his hunting style has changed. He tends to hang back more and has become more of a help dog for us. Maybe he saw all the new hires and promoted himself to middle management. 🤷‍♀️😂

We’ve seen what he can do, but with the way our pack hunts now, he just isn’t getting the same opportunity to work like he did before. A different pack/setup may bring that back out of him, but we’re not going to sell somebody on what he might do. We’re selling him for how he’s hunting TODAY — as a help dog.

Full disclosure — when NOT hunting, he can get verbally aggressive/bossy with other males. Apparently he has some strong opinions about his coworkers after hours. 😂 While hunting, that has not been an issue.

And before the Facebook body-condition committee clocks in… he’s put on a pound or two since this picture. 🤣

Mom: BMC/Pit — active hunting dog who will find her own pigs. She doesn’t need an engraved invitation. 😂🐗

Dad: BMC — active hog dog who knows exactly what he’s out there to do.

These pups come from proven working parents — around here, “family outing” usually involves a dog box, a dirt road, and a pig making poor life choices. 😂🐗

They’re still young, so no telling which one will be the next hog-dog legend and which one will specialize in stealing boots — but they’ve definitely got the genetics and opportunity behind them.
