SDG is proud to have partnered with YBCA to develop the brand, marketing and exhibit design for the Brett Cook & Liz Lerman: Reflection & Action exhibit opening October 20, 2022–April 2, 2023. The show is a retrospective in forward motion—a deep dive into the past, present, and future of these artists’ revolutionary practices. Visual artist Brett Cook and choreographer Liz Lerman turn YBCA’s galleries into a space for collective creation and inspiration guided by their intuitive desire to forge new paths in their respective fields. Featuring video, dance, installation, paintings, and more, audiences are encouraged to explore Cook and Lerman’s artistry as catalysts for enacting collaborative change in the world.

The University of Chicago’s Institute on the Formation of Knowledge (IFK) is excited to announce The Summit on AI in Society on October 13-16, 2022. We will have outstanding scholars from computer science, economics, history, philosophy, and other fields. As AI continues to grow in its power and application, we plan to discuss the potential and limitations of AI knowledge, its origins and end-games, methods to ensure trustworthiness and understanding, and ensemble approaches for collective intelligence and knowledge production.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Alliance of Health Care Unions

SDG redesigned the Alliance site to enable greater member communication and connection. The adaptive site functionality includes a dedicated member portal, forum capabilities, calendar, news, video gallery, document gallery, a social feed and more.

The Alliance of Health Care Unions (Alliance) is a federation of 21 local unions representing 52,000 Kaiser Permanente employees. In 2018, the Alliance was founded by twenty-one local unions with a deep commitment to each other and continuing partnership with Kaiser Permanente to improve patient care and service and make KP the best place to work. The Alliance is a key partner in the largest and longest running Labor Management Partnership in the U.S.
