They're not alone! The UK has launched a government-backed study identifying SBSP as a national energy priority. Japan has been advancing its national SBSP program since 1987 and is set to launch its OHISAMA test satellite this year.

Japan has been pioneering energy solutions longer than most companies have existed! 🇯🇵✨

Since 1987, JAXA has been running a groundbreaking national Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP) program. In 2024, we’re excited to see ground-based microwave Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) at 10kW and 500m, achieving an impressive 42% efficiency! The next step, OHISAMA, is set for fiscal 2026, beaming microwave power from 450km to a receiver in Usuda.

With 100 billion yen committed by 2028, Japan is betting on microwave power beaming from orbit—using the same core architecture as Helio.

We're approaching a major milestone in space energy! Helio has already completed 4 lunar missions, deployed hardware on the Moon, and signed its first customer. We are all working towards a greater goal and we are proud to be in this journey.

When inquiries arise regarding Helio's involvement in lunar operations, the response is more than a mere presentation—it is substantiated by our mission log.

🌕 Intuitive Machines IM-1: This marks the first commercial spacecraft to successfully land on the Moon, featuring Helio hardware onboard.

🚀 Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1: Another significant CLPS mission that transported Helio payload systems to the lunar surface.

In total, we are engaged in FOUR lunar missions, providing authentic operational data directly from the Moon—not simulations or proposals—demonstrating our flight heritage.

And this is just the beginning.

Helio has been chosen to supply deployed instruments for an upcoming Artemis mission, with five additional CLPS mission proposals already submitted. Moreover, we have more orbital systems planned through 2026. 🌌
