Hot off the presses! I got to do the packaging design for this new release from In The Red / 2.13.61! I had a great time working with Larry Hardy and Henry Rollins on this one!
In The Red is proud to announce another collaboration with Henry Rollins’ 2.13.61. This four song 12” is a ripper! It comes in two alternate color covers with vinyl to match.
On June 16, 2025, I saw this UK Subs multi-track demo tape for sale on eBay, of all places. I got it and sent a photo of the front cover of the tape box, which informs the back cover of this 12” to Pete Davies to see what he might remember. He said it looked legit. I took the tape to Infrasonic Sound, a great studio in Nashville, Tennessee and asked engineer Pete Lyman if he could transfer the tape. Days later, he sent Ian MacKaye and I a rough mix of the session. I was stoked to hear that three of the four tracks were unreleased. I contacted Ian and suggested we take the tracks to Don Zientara’s Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia (where we made our first records decades ago) to mix them. On September 30 there we were with Don. Due to the tracks being so well recorded, and the band playing so incredibly, our first mix began to take shape very quickly. Part way into the session, Eddie Janney (Untouchables, Faith, Rites Of Spring, One Last Wish, Happy Go Licky, Skewbald) arrived to sit in and we had another Subs fan in attendance. Together, we finished mixing the last two tracks. We brought the mixes to Pete Lyman for mastering. I wrote Charlie and asked his permission to unleash the tracks and he said go ahead. So, here we are with three unreleased UK Subs tunes and a new mix of Same Thing. Studio kicks, indeed! These songs are finally where they should be—with you. – Henry Rollins

Though it hasn't been formally announced, I did the design work for a new 7" single from Chris Stamey (The dB's, Big Star and more ...) which is a brilliant and lovely cover of Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks.
It's available for pre-order from a bunch of places like , and more! Release date is early May.
We started work on this in Sept. of last year, and life being the funny thing it is, The Kinks are currently trending due to some silly comment Moby made about their song "Lola."
Having done a couple of tour posters and t-shirt designs for Dave Davis - it just all seems amusing to me as far as the odd timing of it all.
I actually did some web work for a Moby related project over a decade ago – so in a freaky way - I'm somehow connected to every point of this pop music trifecta controversy.
I'm definitely team Kinks and Chris on this one!
Life can be a weird random connect the dots sometimes!

Drum Roll, Please! I got to work on the layout and some of the design work for Prairie Prince's upcoming album "Colours and Passions" which will be released next Friday, March 20, 2026.
After a lifetime behind the drums for some of rock’s most iconic acts, Prairie Prince steps into the spotlight with his debut solo album, “Colours and Passions,” from Label 51 Recordings. The ambitious project—ten years in the making and featuring 50 musicians across 14 tracks—pays homage to spoken word legend Ken Nordine’s landmark 1966 album “Colors.”
The debut solo album by acclaimed drummer Prairie Prince. Described by journalist and author Joel Selvin as the "latest expression" of Prince's "supreme artwork," this deeply personal project involves 10 years, 50 musicians, 20 drums, and 14 tracks.
It is noted to take up where the original record by spoken word legend Ken Nordine left off. Prince weaves together tracks named for different colors, giving them life through drums, percussion, and spoken word.
The album features guest appearances by a number of celebrated musicians, including Todd Rundgren, Buckethead, Jello Biafra, Ross Valory (Journey), Hugh Cornwell, and fellow members of The Tubes: Michael Cotten, Roger Steen, and Rick Anderson.
The 2 LP set comes with a 16 page booklet featuring Prarie's art and lyrics; the CD also includes an extensive 32 page booklet.

INTRO AUDIO: FANFARE
I'm so excited to finally be able to share this with the world! Last Fall, I had the amazing honor to design the LP and CD packaging for BIG SEXY NOISE with Lydia Lunch.
I've been a fan of hers for decades, and I'm super happy with how this turned out. Lydia provided me with the amazing photos and gave me a lot of creative freedom with it.
"The unholy triumvirate of Big Sexy Noise featuring Lydia Lunch, James Johnston (Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Faust) & Ian White (Barry Adamson) of the notorious Gallon Drunk are dead set on proving once more that ROCK is alive and kicking, down and dirty and raunchier than ever!
Lunch helped pioneer no wave in 1977 with the slashing din of Teenage Jesus and the Jerks and has remained a caustic presence in the alt-rock firmament ever since. Big Sexy Noise unites her with guitarist James Johnston and drummer Ian White of guttural London greasers Gallon Drunk for the most joyfully b***y music of her career, stripping bare the bluesy brawn of 70’s heavy-rock and inverting its every cock-rock cliche to Lunch’s delight.
White’s limber shuffle injects sinful grace into what could have been Neanderthal sludge, while Johnston stirs up the din of an entire band with his single guitar, hurtling between bone-simple, steamy riffs and blasts of near psychedelic noise.
Big Sexy Noise Live in Italy, a fierce, fearless, tub thumbing, balls to the wall rock monsterpiece."
A huge thanks to Larry and In The Red Records for giving me the opportunity to work on this project and another upcoming one we did for Lydia Lunch.
