Side sleeping is the most common sleep posture — it’s comfortable and helps some people reduce snoring and breath easier. But most pillows are too low or soft. What is a Hybrid Mattress?
A “hybrid mattress” is simply a combination of both coils and foam. It's a new buzz word for something that’s been around forever, really. The rise of the “hybrid” mattress is due in part to the rise of the all-foam mattress, like all latex, memory foam or polyurethane foam mattresses. As the mattress market has been flooded with online retailers selling all-foam mattresses, some consumers are looking for options that haven’t done away with coils.
Coils bring both buoyancy and breathability to a mattress. And because coil systems vary in structure and tension, they can offer a range of firmness options, contouring abilities, and pressure relief.
